I’m always trying to use the words easy for clients to understand, in accordance with the phrase “Law couldn’t have meaning without comprehension.” my educator told me when I was a legal apprentice. Also at the meeting, I’m always analyzing with clients what the problem they have exactly is and telling the clients the perspective of the final solution to the problem. I’m sure that sharing the solution first and then cooperating with the clients are essential process to solve the problem.
Especially for the corporate legal affairs, it’s important to prevent the conflict to happen before it occurs, because even the existence of confliction negatively affects to the management. On the other hand, if the conflict occurs, lawsuit is not the only way to solve it. At one time, the dispute resolution including lawsuit, arbitration, trial, and so on could be the best way for clients, but at another time, the negotiation could be better. I can suggest the best way for the clients, based on their surroundings.
I’d like to think about the management strategy of the clients and maximize their value, as a partner of the clients.
